Tram + Khanh | Old Poway Park Vintage Engagement Session

Mon, Dec 8 2014 11:42 | Permalink
Tram and Khanh are one heck of a cute couple.

We all came together at Old Poway Park for this specific engagement shoot.  We love to shoot at Old Poway Park because it is what I like to call an inception location.  You get one giant lush park with tons of smaller, more intimate places to take photos. There are locations inside of locations. Inception.

The park is next an old train station so there is a great vintage feel to everything:  Train tracks, box cars, white picket fences.  Khanh came up with the idea to include the suitcase which gave the whole shoot a cool narrative.

Can't you just see these two hitting the road, on the lam,  Bonnie and Clyde style.  What is in that suitcase Khanh???

They both enjoy photography and have a great eye together so it was a huge pleasure and ease to shoot the two of them.

We will update the blog very soon with photos from their actual wedding.  Keep an eye out!

Open Air Photo Booth

Mon, Apr 22 2013 12:24 | Permalink

Capture the fun of your wedding reception with an open air photo booth! "Open Air" booths are slightly different from traditional booths because a large backdrop allows for 10 (or more) of your friends and family to squeeze in together for the photo in front your wedding-themed backdrop. A live photographer is on site to professionally capture each image, and ensure printing. Packages include either traditional photo strips or full size 4x6 prints - all unlimited.

Book Photo Booths by Bob Hoffman for one cohesive video and photography team on your wedding day! When we do your photo booth we can also include your booth photos on your wedding disc, online gallery, wedding album and even in your video!

Whitney + Brian, Sunset Cliffs Engagement

Wed, Mar 2 2011 11:50 | Permalink
Whitney & Brian are getting married!! Whitney is a close friend of mine and I'm getting a huge kick out of helping her through the planning process. I'm amazed at how fast everything is coming together for them and the low-stress approach they're taking to everything, even with Brian being in San Francisco.  I'm positive that their wedding will be fun and carefree, a real celebration of their relationship.

For their engagement photos we met at Sunset Cliffs right next to where they had their first date and ended the session on Harbor Island with the beautiful San Diego skyline as a backdrop, just like their first kiss a few years back. Whitney wore grey with plumb accents in her scarf for the daytime photos to match her wedding colors.

In just 5 months I'll be posting their wedding photos!

Laraine + Anthony's Engagement Session

Tue, Feb 1 2011 11:41 | Permalink
San Diego weather is (almost) perfect. I'm so glad we rescheduled Laraine and Anthony's shoot that was originally set for a really foggy, gross day. It was fun working with them and the La Jolla sunshine and beautiful sunset was a huge plus.
